FIRE DEPARTMENT

Board of Engineers

James Black, Chief

Russ Emerson, Deputy Chief

Brad Gannon, Assistant Chief

The North Brookfield Fire Department consists of three engineers, two companies (engine company and ladder company) with the auxiliary men. We have six trucks (one ladder, two engines, one rescue, one tanker, and one forestry). Also, for water and ice rescues we have a hovercraft that we use with our dive team members. Beside fire calls, we handle car accidents, machinery accidents, confined space entrapments, high angle rescues, searches, hazmat calls, life fight landing zones, and fire prevention with the small kids.
