Sometimes you may have questions about the town government, but you don't know who to ask. This page will help to answer some common questions that you may have. Pertinent questions may be directed to the Webmaster.

Q: How do I obtain a building permit?

A:  Please directly contact the Building Inspector.

 

Q: Where do I register to vote?

A: Voters must be: 18 years of age, American born or fully naturalized, and a resident of North

     Brookfield. Registration is in the Town Clerk's office at the Town House, before elections and town

     meetings on dates announced by the Town Clerk.

 

Q: When are taxes due?

A: Visit the Town Collector page to find tax information.

 

Q: When are water\sewer bills due?

A: Visit the Town Collector page to find billing information.

 

Q: How do I use the recycling center (dump)?

A: The recycling center is available to all residents with a valid permit. Please visit the Recycling Center page for detailed information.

 

Q: When is vehicle excise tax due? Where do I pay?

A: Visit the Town Collector page to find tax information.

 

Q: How do I get a copy of birth, marriage, and death certificates?

A: Information is available on the Town Clerk page.
