        At a Special Town Meeting on May 4, 2001, the citizens of North Brookfield voted unanimously to approve preliminary plans to renovate and expand the Haston Library towards the Union Star Building. Ann Kidd, Library Director, and Melissa Butler Bennett, of Butler Bennett Architects of Medford, MA, introduced the project to the assembled.
        In addition to the hard work on the MBLC grant by Ann Kidd, the Library Building Needs Committee worked with the architect to develop the feasibility study and the plans that we have available for viewing.
