WIRING INSPECTOR

Permit Policies: 1. Permits and fees must be received in advance of commencing work unless authorized by the wiring inspector. 2. Proof of liability insurance or signed waiver must accompany all permits unless current liability form is on file with this office. 3. Permits issued only to persons or businesses holding a valid electrical license or homeowners of single dwelling occupancies. 4. All Fees must be paid for by check or money orders made payable to the Town of North Brookfield. 5. Fees doubled without permit.
Fee Structure Efffective July 1, 2007:
Residential Single Family or Modular Home - $70.00 Multi-Family Home (per unit) - $50.00 Alterations, Additions, Renovations - $40.00 Above Ground Pools - $40.00 In-ground Pools - $70.00 Smoke Detectors-Single Family - $30.00 Smoke Detectors-Multi- Family (per unit) - $20.00 Security Alarm Systems-Single Family - $40.00 Security Alarm Systems-Multi-Family (per unit) - $30.00 Temporary Service - $30.00 Service Change - $40.00 Wiring of Furnaces, Boilers, Water Heaters, Dryer, Ranges - $30.00 Underground Service - $30.00 Wiring of Garages, Sheds - $30.00 Wiring of Barns - $50.00 Generator Wiring - $30.00 Re-Inspections - $40.00
