Board of Health

Our Mission

The mission of the North Brookfield Board of Health is to protect, promote, and preserve the health and well-being of all residents of the Town of North Brookfield. Through the enforcement of federal, state, and local statutes and regulations, the Board of Health is responsible for disease prevention and control; health and environmental protection, and promoting a healthy community. The Board of Health serves as the local extension of both the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

We are a member of the Leicester Regional Public Health Coalition, a grant-funded coalition which provides for and shares public health services with seven local  municipalities.
