North Brookfield Fire/Rescue

Located in the geographic center of town, the North Brookfield Fire Department consists of three engineers and one company. The fleet consists of six trucks : one tower ladder, two engines, one rescue, one tanker, and one forestry. We have a hovercraft and dive boat for water and ice rescue. Besides fire calls, we respond to car accidents, machinery accidents, confined space entrapment, high angle rescue, search, hazardous materials calls, life flight landing zones, and fire prevention with the elementary school students.

Reminder: Winter is coming. Please be mindful of ashes, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide monitors. Have chimney inspected and boilers cleaned.

If you have any concerns regarding the adaquacy of your smoke detectors or carbon monoxide  detectors, the Fire Prevention Officers will come to your home or business for an inspection, free of charge.
